Juniperus scopulorum ‘Skyrocket’
Stately, columnar form makes this likely the narrowest juniper available – so narrow and upright, in fact, it resembles a skyrocket! A durable and versatile evergreen with beautiful bluish green foliage, it works well grouped to form a colorful screen, or singly as a garden accent in a mixture of conifers. Requires very little care, once established.
Juniperus scopulorum ‘Wichita Blue’
The handsome, broadly pyramidal form makes this an excellent choice for an evergreen screen, hedge, background plant, or lawn specimen. The bright silver-blue foliage retains its brilliant color year-round.
Juniperus horizontalis ‘Youngstown’
This tightly branched, low-growing, evergreen shrub with handsome scale-like foliage creates a versatile groundcover excellent for use in a rock garden or in the foreground of a border. Bright green foliage turns a plum color in winter.
Pinus mugo var. pumilio
A popular dwarf conifer displaying dark green needles on dense branches. A very useful, slow growing evergreen for rock gardens, mass plantings and in mixed groupings with broadleaf plants. Makes a great container specimen.
Pinus mugo ‘Slowmound’
A rugged and hardy evergreen with an evenly mounded habit of finely textured, rich deep green foliage. Slow growing, compact form seldom needs pruning or maintenance. Handsome on its own or when planted en masse. An ideal salt tolerant choice for a small urban garden, alpine or rock garden, or large waterwise landscape.
Pinus parviflora ‘Blue Angel’
A slow growing evergreen that will maintain a uniform and densely branched upright form with no pruning. Its silvery blue-green needles are brighter than others, creating a handsome landscape specimen. Great for use in a shrub border or as specimen tree for a small garden.
Pinus strobus
This American native conifer is noted for its delicate, long needles that give the tree a ‘soft’ look. It is fast growing, with an open form while young. Will benefit from pruning to maintain that classic upright evergreen form. Does not do well in open sites in Zone 3.

Picea glauca ‘Densata’
Shapely Christmas tree type evergreen, with short, blue-green needles. Shears easily. Useful as a specimen, hedge or windbreak. Best in full sun, but tolerates light shade.
Picea pungens
This very popular conifer has a handsome pyramidal form with rigid tiered branches densely covered with stiff gray-blue needles. Use as an evergreen windbreak or tall screen, or as a specimen plant in large landscapes.
Picea abies ‘Cupressina’
Elegant columnar selection, highly valued as an accent or perimeter planting where a strong vertical effect is needed. Dark green evergreen needles are slightly curved on closely set limbs, creating a slender, uniform form with dense branching to the ground. Withstands heavy snow loads. Tolerates heat and humidity better than others. Ideal windbreak or privacy wall.
