Sambucus canadensis ‘Adams’
White flowers in late June. Fruits, blue to black, in large clusters are excellent for pies, jam and elderberry wine. Hardy native plant. Use in background and wildlife plantings. A clone of S. canadensis selected for its large fruit. Fruit set is normally improved when more than one cultivar is used, such as ‘York’.
