Blueberry, Northland
Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Northland’
This cultivar was hybridized to adapt to northern Michigan. Fruit size is small, dark blue, and has a wild berry flavor. Northland has limber branches which do not break under heavy snow loads and adapt well to the sub-zero climate. Great for ornamental use. Low stature and spreading growth habit make it an attractive landscape plant. Foliage is beautiful throughout the growing season.
