Bougainvillea blooms in colors like red, pink, orange, and purple — although its blooms aren’t typical flowers.
The colorful parts of a bougainvillea are actually paper-like, modified leaves called bracts. Bougainvillea flowers are the small, trumpet-shaped blooms of white and yellow inside the bracts.
Available in multiple colors. Prefers dry soil. Bougainvillea are prone to fungus if overwatered.
Keep the soil evenly moist and do fill the ‘cup’ in the middle of the plant with water, too. The plant will bloom once in its life, and then produce pups to propagate.

Strelitzia nicolai
A stunning, highly prized tropical plant with bold clumps of lush, long stalks held in a fountain-like formation supporting huge, blue-green leaves. As plant matures, extremely large bird-like flowers emerge, with white heads and blue tongues.
Tropical hibiscus plants produce flowers constantly, but each blossom only lasts one day. Keep it evenly moist and in bright light to keep those flowers coming! Available in tree or bush. Colors include red, yellow and pink.
