Mandevilla spp.
Both Dipladenia and Mandevilla are beloved for their brilliant, showy trumpet shaped flowers in shades of red, coral, pink, yellow and white. These tropical plants flower profusely in summer to late fall, and attract hummingbirds and bees. Expect Dipladenia to stay more compact than Mandevilla, and have the tendency to cascade rather than climb.
