+ July 13th, 2026 – First blooms!
The first blooms have appeared! Black Eyed Susan, Pearly Everlasting, and Yarrow have started to pop up amongst the greenery.



+ May 13th, 2026 – First signs of green



+April, 2026 – Snow melt
The snow has melted off the beds and there are tiny signs of green underneith the protective matting.


+ September 21st, 2025 – Hands on planting demo led by Shoreview Natives
15 volunteers joined us for an informational class on native planting, then got their hands dirty getting some plants in the ground.












+ September 19th, 2025 – Prep work complete
Prep work was completed on the new bed areas. Areas were scraped and leveled, garden soil added, edging placed and paper weed barrier plus straw blanket laid out.



+ July 17th, 2025 – Shoreview Natives Visit
Tabatha & Sarah were able to visit the Shoreview Natives geenhouse and nursery to talk about their process and possible future collaborations that would eventually turn into the butterfly garden!
